Switched Mode Power Supply
IC HCF4053 x 2 as Internal/External TV/AV Switching ic, μPC1891ACY as Surround Sound Control IC,
AN5421 as Sync Detector IC along with 8 Transistors in AV PCB
IC AN5836 as Dual Channel Audio Amplifier With Volume, Bass, Treble & Balance Control, AN7149 as Dual
Channel Audio Amplifier in Sound PCB.
IC MN1458S as Woofer Control IC & IC AN7149 as Woofer Audio Amplifier IC in Woofer PCB

Set is in Standby i.e. No Power-On
+5V supply from SMPS is missing, check 5V at pin
no. 52 of IC701, Q701 (2SA1015), R701 (1K5),
D701 (3.6V-zener), R702 (8K2), C702A (0.01MFd),
R703 (4K7), C701-C702 (33pF), X701 (4MHz), no
output from pin no. 8 of IC701, IC701 (MN15287-
9504) def., R721 (10K), R722 (10K), R723 (10K),

After Switching on the TV Set By Mains
On/Off Switch, TV Starts & Automatically
Goes into Standby Condition
This is called Reset Problem, check Q701
(2SA1015), R701 (1K5), D701 (3.6V-zener), R702
(8K2), C702A (0.01 MFd), R703 (4K7), IC701
(MN15287-9504) defective.

No Operation Through Remote Control
Handset While Handset is OK & Front
Panel Keyboard is Working Normally
Check +5V to IR Sensor A701, no output from IR
Sensor or it is faulty, R718A (15KpF), R774 (220 Ω),
IC701 (MN15287-9504) defective

No Operation Through Front Panel
Keyboard While Remote Control
Operation is OK
Any key in Front Panel Keyboard is def., Front Panel
Keyboard dusty or rusty, check key matrix circuit,
