1.Power cycle
Most of the problems can be resolved by power cycling. STB power cycling means removing the main supply cord from the socket and reinserting it after few seconds.
2.101 - No Access – All channels/ Few channels
Check if the channel is available in the subscribed package.
Thereafter, check the recharge date, if expired then recharge and keep the STB on 550.
If the payment is made and problem still persists, then Power Cycle the STB.
Incase the problem lingers, call dishtv customer care & request for re-activation.
To gain access to the channel which is not in the package, please call customer care and subscribe for the same.
3.201 - Card Refresh Error
Re-insert the VC properly.
If still the problem contact your nearest dealer
4.301 - Signal not found
Power cycle the STB.
Check if the STB is properly connected to the Dish antenna.
If the problem still persists, contact your dishtv Service Agent.
5.302 – Signal Unavailable
This is a temporary problem.
Power cycle the STB.
Incase the problem is still there, contact your dishtv Service Agent.
6.303 - Re-install services
Power cycle the STB.
Reinstall the STB by pressing “OK” on the remote and then EXIT to save the settings.
Incase the problem is still there, contact your dishtv Service Agent.
7.401 - Please insert Viewing Card (VC)
Insert the VC if it is not installed.
If the VC is intalled then reinstall it.
8.402 - Please check the Viewing Card
Please insert the VC properly with the correct chip facing upward / downward as per instruction on the STB.
Incase the problem is still there, contact your dishtv Service Agent.
9.No access on MOD
501 – Conditional access
This is a temporary problem.
Power Cycle the STB.
Incase the problem is still there, contact your dishtv Service Agent.
Recharge your dishtv account to avail uninterrupted services.
Check for Financial Transaction (FT) / subscription due date.
If expired then recharge your subscription.
10.No Access on a TV channel.
Check that if the channel is in your package.
If it is, then do Channel Search or call Customer Care.
