How to Make a Simple Touch Sensor Switch at Home
घर पर आसान टच सेंसर स्विच कैसे बनाएं
In this post, we will learn how to make a simple and effective Touch Sensor Switch using basic electronic components. This project is perfect for beginners who want to try hands-on electronics projects at home.
🔧 Required Components:
- 1 x BC547 Transistor
- 1 x LED
- 1 x 1K Resistor
- 1 x 10K Resistor
- 1 x 9V Battery
- 2 x Metal Wires for touch input
- Breadboard and jumper wires
📘 Circuit Diagram:
You can connect the components as shown below:
- Connect the collector of the BC547 to the negative terminal of the LED.
- The emitter goes to the ground (battery -).
- One metal wire connects to base via a 10K resistor, and another wire to the battery positive (+).
- Touching both wires will turn the LED ON.
💡 How it Works:
When you touch the metal wires, your body conducts a small current that triggers the base of the transistor. This allows current to flow from collector to emitter, lighting up the LED.
📌 Applications:
- Automatic light switch
- DIY electronic toys
- Science fair projects
